'Intelligent crop production', the ultimate work of reference when it comes to arable farming, has now been updated. Since the last edition, the worldwide trials programme has now expanded into more countries and data has been collected over several years more years and so the 'Intelligent crop production' book is now out in the 4th Edition. The new 184 page book, not only takes a look at the ways and means of reducing establishment costs in different soil types and acreages, but also looks, in Part II, further into the fundamentals of how soil tillage and cultivation effects soil husbandry. In the book, Amazone investigate the influence of various scenarios on differing farm sizes, crop rotation and climate and, with more diverse drilling and cultivation systems now available from Amazone, the section on machine choice becomes more in touch with modern farming trrends.
