Product Specialist

AMAZONE Ltd. is looking to recruit a Product Specialist

Reporting directly to the managing director, the successful candidate will have an intensive and comprehensive knowledge of the full Amazone product range, both agricultural and Groundcare, and will
be able to impart that knowledge to the internal sales team, dealer sales staff, end customers as well as the UK media and press. The job, based at Amazone Ltd’s training, education and research facility in Orchard Farm, Doncaster, will involve extensive travel throughout Britain as well as some training at the group headquarters in Germany.

The key element of the role is to have a thorough understanding of current arable farming establishment trends, have a grounding in the agronomy behind those trends and to be able to communicate those trends confidently - both in-house and publicly. The successful candidate must be able demonstrate their enthusiasm for the product, be extremely confident in their knowledge of every nut and bolt of the whole product range, must be able to sell themselves and have an excellent grasp of the English language in both speech and the written word in order to be able to prepare training notes, bulletins, technical documentation, literature, web articles, etc.  A knowledge of the German language would also be an advantage.

The ideal candidate would be from an arable farming background and have used associated machinery from those types of farm, have maybe worked in the machinery industry with a dealer or manufacturer, have the mechanical ability to assemble, install and demonstrate modern arable farming machinery and a knowledge of farm management information systems, GPS systems and data transfer in this world of digitalisation.

A knowledge of social media and the generation of video and still photography would be an advantage in this role.
