3C Demo Tour 2017
It doesn’t matter how impressive that new bit of kit looks when it’s polished and sitting on a Cereals or LAMMA Show stand, there is nothing quite like seeing it in the flesh out in the field where it belongs, doing what it does best - working . So 8 tractors – and 8 machines - are out on tour around the country this summer doing just that and they are coming to a field near you on:

With a range of kit on show to suit all farm sizes and tractor horsepower, the impressive line-up for this year’s 3C Demo Tour includes two brand-new compact disc harrows; the little Catros+ 3003 Special and the 8 metre trailed Catros+ 8003-2TX. These will be demonstrating the best way of creating a stale seedbed.
The Cenius 3003 Super and the Cenius 4003-2TX Super tined mulch cultivators will again both be set up to look at shallow stubble chitting and deep loosening without inversion. Even so, don’t worry, because when it comes to inversion tillage, the new Cayros plough will be on hand.
Drilling systems are also evolving to suit changes in crop establishment such as later drilling dates, higher seed rates, less disturbance, etc. and so, out on Tour, will be the new Cirrus 6003-2C grain and fertiliser trailed drill with the TwinTeC+ double disc coulter that can be used as a conventional cultivator drill or as a low disturbance drill. The Cayena 6001-C, also with fertiliser, will also be going through its paces as a low disturbance drill with its front cutting discs and the new slimmer TineTeC HD chisel opener which is designed to move even less soil.
Last, but not least, and finishing up the line-up, is the new Cataya conventional power harrow/drill combination that doesn’t disappoint with its new TwinTeC double disc coulter, ISOBUS control with GPS-actuated half-side headland shut off, variable rate seeding, push button calibration, in-cab power harrow depth control, hydraulic coulter lift, etc., etc.
To fit in around harvest, these events are running from 7am through to 12pm - so come along and grab a bacon sandwich and a cup of coffee, see the kit at work and then, weather permitting, go back home to the start combining.
As a thank you for taking the time out to come a join us, 5 lucky visitors to each event will be going home with a Bfs FlowCheck meter, the simple way to ensure accurate sprayer calibration.
