IOG Saltex sees the launch of the PH1500 SmartLine
October 31st - November 1st sees AMAZONE Groundcare back at the NEC Birmingham for this year's IOG Saltex Show.
This year's Show sees the launch of the all-new Profihopper PH1500. Based loosely on the concept of its kid sister, the PH1250 SmartLine the PH1500 is bigger and bolder with a new engine management and drive concept designed to keep fuel economy and noise levels to an absolute minimum. With two modes in the drive-line, the machine is capable of speeds of up to 20 km/h when in road mode and the revs are set by the load on the engine - keeping the comfort factor to a maximum for the operator. Once on site, and the cutting deck is switched on, the engine revs up to give full power to the mowing operation. A PowerShuttle system gives the operator control over forwards and backwards with the front pedal now just giving them travel speed - the new cruise control feature means that there is no need to worry about the pedal pressure all day. The new 1.5m cutting deck, combined with cutting speeds of up to 10 km/h and a new 1,100 litre collecting hopper, makes for vastly increased work rates. The principle of the PowerCompactor is taken over from the smaller machine - but now has a longer collecting auger so that the grass cuttings are packed into the hopper even more meaning an equivalent capacity of over 1,600 litres can be utilised for longer times between emptying.
The Yanmar 45.6 HP diesel is Stage V ready and does not require the use of a diesel exhaust fluid for lower running costs and more convenience. LED work lights keep the operation safe when working those long days.
The Saltex Show also sees the release of the new PH1250 SmartLine. This revamped version of the out-going PH 05 has a brand-new hydrostatic drive system for more output as well as offering more intuitive pedal control. A cup holder, USB socket and lockable storage box are all there for better driver comfort. Maintenance has been simplified as well with better access to the service points and the new dashboard gives the operator useful job-related documentation for aiding invoicing out areas cut and time taken, etc.
The stand would not be complete without the new E+S winter spreaders being on parade; including the E+S Easy for simplified calibration and speed-relaetd spread rate control and width adjustment.
So come and see all this exciting new kit on Stand K111, we look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks time.
