Precision Farming 2015
Precision Farming takes up residence in Newark
This year’s Precision Farming Event, which takes place on March 4th , will be held this time at Newark Show-ground. With a wide ranging seminar programme on a variety of topics from UAV’s to the use of robotics in the dairy industry, the day gives you the chance to catch up on what the experts are saying as well as to find out what’s new in the world of precision farming equipment.
On Stand 10, Amazone will be showing off the latest in-cab terminals and software levels for both AMABUS and ISOBUS controllers as well as where necessary looking at the connectivity of third party GPS terminals to machine-specific computers such as AMADOS+ or AMASPRAY+. With variable rate PGRs now being dis-cussed the connectivity to the sprayer is now playing a bigger part when deciding on a new purchase.
The CCI 100 8.4” touch screen ISOBUS controller is becoming the logical choice when buying an Amazone ISOBUS spreader, such as the ZA-TS or ZA-V, or sprayer and this will be on display as well. CCI 100 comes as standard with its documentation and variable rate package CCI Command with the option of CCI Control SC and Control PT packages for automatic section control and/or parallel guidance aid. An external light bar is also available as a head-up display. CCI 100 is also able to control up to 8 cameras if necessary. Its bigger brother CCI 200 is also an option if looking for wireless communication with a view to remotely uploading or downloading documentation.
All Amazone ISOBUS job computers and terminals are certified to UT.2.0 under the new AEF conformity test-ing regime and details of what machine can do in which combination with regard to compatibility and specifica-tions can be found on-line at www.aef-online.org
We look forward to seeing you at Newark on March 4th and bring your Precision Farming questions along with you to Stand 10 where we will be happy to answer them.
