“Everything about it just ticks all the boxes”
After first seeing the Profihopper in action over in Ireland at Ballyliffin Golf Club, Eoin Riddell, Course Manager at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland was immediately impressed with the Profihopper. When the opportunity to get a demonstration at Dornoch Eoin jumped at the chance and promptly purchased a PH 1500 soon after in 2024.
Eoin commented how he was really impressed with the finish of the cut as well as the build quality, “so far I’ve not found a fault with it” commented Eoin “and it fits really well into our rough management plan”. They mainly use the Profihopper to thin out the thick rough to bring it back to a more natural links rough, further adding that “The Profihopper is the right tool for us”.
The standout feature for them was the unique auger system which allows Dornoch to cut in the wet with Eoin adding “it doesn’t clog and collects very well as well as being easy to setup and adjust”.
